What This Warranty Covers
Shingle Hero™ guarantees that asphalt shingles treated with our rejuvenation product will:
- Retain operating flexibility based on standardized ASTM flexibility testing.
This warranty ensures that the treatment, when applied properly to a roof in good condition (i.e., not leaking, missing shingles, or structurally compromised), will perform as intended by restoring essential oils that help resist brittleness, cracking, and granule loss.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not apply to:
- Roofs with structural failure, active leaks, or missing shingles at the time of application.
- Damage from Acts of God (hail, high winds,
tree limbs, etc.). - Installation defects in the original roof.
- Loss of granule coating unrelated to oil degradation.
- Labor or installation costs unrelated to retreatment.
These are typically covered by your homeowner's insurance policy.
Activation Requirements
To activate your warranty:
- Email photos of the treated roof to admin@shinglehero.com within 14 days of application.
- Include the applicator/dealer name, application date, and customer address in the subject line.
- Save your original receipt and documentation for any future claim.
Transferability
This warranty is transferable one time to a new homeowner during the 5-year warranty period, provided the following conditions are met:
- The new homeowner notifies Shingle Hero™ of the property transfer within 60 days of closing.
- Proof of original treatment (invoice) and photos are submitted to admin@shinglehero.com.
- No additional roof work or non-Shingle Hero™ products have been applied since the original treatment.
Once approved, the warranty continues under the original timeline and prorated coverage..
